Valbonne

For the month, we've been staying in a three bedroom condo in Valbonne, France. Valbonne is a little remove from the hustle and bustle of the coast, about 30 minutes from Nice and just about due north of Antibes. When I was looking for places to stay, I intentionally stayed away from the coast BECAUSE of the bustle and I am so happy I did. It's so quiet and peaceful here. All you hear are the trees in the wind, the Cicadas buzzing, and sometimes a golfer teeing off or kids splashing in the pool. Paradise.

Each little French village has it's own identity and local offering but are often set up the same way. There is an old city center with medieval buildings where you'll find various squares, shopping, and restaurants. Although we'd been here for several weeks, I never actually made my way into Valbonne center until we had friends visiting that wanted to check it out. So we did!

We walked around briefly in the early evening on our way to dinner and of course, Valbonne didn't disappoint. It's filled with adorable little streets, beautiful architecture and gives you that French vibe you look for in any quaint little town.

And of course, food pics! We ended up at a restaurant called Terrarosa. I got escargots and sea bass with a scoop of kinder bueno gelato for dessert from the local ice cream shop.

Delicious, as always!
