St. Tropez

One of my to do list items was to visit St. Tropez while we were in France. St. Tropez is a small coastal village about 1.5 hours west of Nice and is kind of nestled in a way that it's kind of hard to get to. I've been there once before for lunch and while it has a huge reputation for being frequented by the rich and famous, it's pretty small and was originally an old fishing village. Still, I wanted to go.

I found a catamaran cruise online that departed from a marina nearby and off we went! When we arrived after a harrowing trip down the windiest and TINIEST roads I've actually ever driven, we were hungry and found a lovely beach side restaurant for lunch.

Lunch was delish! I had a chicken Caesar salad, Harper had a burger and Hayden had the Steak Tartare.

Rosé in St. Tropez! Duh.

After lunch, we walked to the dock to find our boat and off we went for our three hour cruise around the Gulfe de St. Tropez.

Of course, the boat meandered through the mooring field where all of the private mega yachts are anchored. So we got a nice tour of that as well.

And when we got to our destination, they had paddle boards and kayaks available for everyone to use. So we swam but also had some fun activity while we were there.

We loved jumping off the boat as well!

And of course, Hayden helped hoist the sail on the way back.

It was a beautiful day in St. Tropez!
